The AK Party's Deputy Chairman for Economic Affairs Numan Kurtulmuş
said that military coups in Turkey empowered the corrupt to infiltrate
the Judiciary, police, and media.
In a lengthy interview with Al-jazeera Wednesday, Kurtulmuş
claimed that "Arab and Islamic countries are conspiring with anarchists
to bring down the legitimate government in Turkey."
Kurtulmuş slammed UAE's withdrawal of $12 billion investments as a "mistake it will regret".
He pointed out that "anarchists" have "arms" in the interior
ministry, the judiciary and the media, seeking to carry out a coup
against the ruling AK Party (Justice and Development Party), in
coordination with foreign entities.
Kurtulmuş condemned the phone tapping of the prime minister and other government officials.
"Those conspirers from Fethullah Gulen group have no popularity and will not be able to steal the Turkish people", he said.
