With the human race slowly being killed off by GMO food,
environmental poisons, petroleum, plastics, chemtrails, pharmaceuticals,
vaccinations, radiation, and weaponized warfare, the powers that be are
working on new strain of stronger ‘humans’ to carry on our existence.
Forget designer babies with specific gene preferences determined by
parents, we’re talking about the utter transformation by a technocracy
of the human genome. It is called transhumanism
and scientists in the UK and US have already submitted proposals to
legally create GMO babies. Actually, GMO human embryos have already been created.
Techno-eugenics,
you might call it – a way to appropriate humanity for the use of an
elite class. It seems innocuous at first – using stem cells to help
women with fertility issues get pregnant or to help develop a healthy
fetus in a woman who has damaged DNA, but it isn’t something to be taken
lightly, or without deep moral concern.
The same energy that
created the atom bomb could have been used for less malevolent purposes,
and this is no different. Sure, a bionic arm for a Vietnam vet who has
lost his due to an IED explosion is a good thing - but ‘improving’ upon
the human form until we look more like Iron Man than a human being?
What is the good in that? For some, it is considered our destiny.

Filipino Farmers from Isabela Grateful for Understanding the Science of Bt Eggplant

Crop Biotech Update
In a letter of gratitude to Isabela Governor Faustino G. Dy III, farmers from Isabela, northern part of the Philippines, expressed their eagerness to plant the fruit and shoot borer resistant Bt eggplant, once approved by the government for commercial propagation. The twenty-nine farmers who visited the Bt eggplant field trial being conducted at the University of the Philippines Los BaƱos Institute of Plant Breeding (UPLB-IPB) last April 25, 2011, thanked the government of Isabela province for supporting their study visit to the research institution.
The small-scale farmers appreciated the learnings on the science and safety of biotech crops, particularly that of Bt eggplant, during the seminar that followed. "We, as farmers, are delighted to learn that the public research institution, particularly the UPLB-IPB, is working on the development of this innovative biotech product which we believe would be very beneficial to the farmers of Isabela, particularly in addressing the number one pest of eggplant, fruit and shoot borer," they wrote.
The farmers believed that Bt eggplant would be able to increase their yield and significantly reduce their dependence on pesticide, which, they held, has negative impact on their health, their community, and the environment. The farmers concluded their letter by thanking the Governor for providing the farmers the opportunity of keeping them informed of the new innovations on agriculture which would allow them to exercise their freedom in choosing the technologies for their farm.

I strongly urge farmers to consider the power that grassroots activism has as demonstrated by these events," said National Corn Growers Association (NCGA) Trade Policy and Biotechnology Action Team Chad Blindauer.
With the increasing farmer and consumer acceptance after more than 15 years of biotechnology advocacy and support for science-based regulation, new biotech products are currently being put in the market. These include more stacked traits in GM corn that reduce inputs needed to protect crop and maintain yields. This year, the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) deregulated corn that contains alpha-amylase gene which breaks down starch to sugar, facilitating ethanol production. Very soon, biotech corn varieties that are abiotic stress tolerant (drought) would be released as APHIS is now in the final stage of evaluation. In the pipeline are other biotech corn for cooler climate and a few more biotech crops which will address other climate-based stresses.
"The introduction of additional options continues to allow growers to produce the corn needed for food, feed, fuel, and fiber in a rapidly growing world," Blindauer added.

Kenyan farmers band together against GMOs, insist organics will end poverty and food shortages

(NaturalNews) Droves of farmers in the African country of Kenya are pushing hard to stop efforts by government officials to implement genetically-modified (GM) crops in the nation. Contradicting the lies and propaganda continually dispensed by the biotechnology industry, these farmers claim that organic crops -- not GMOs -- continue to lead the way in ending poverty, providing food for natives, and even producing yield surpluses that can then be sold in foreign markets to help boost local economies and improve food sovereignty.
Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki recently signed into law the Kenya Biosafety Act 2009, which creates a "National Biosafety Authority" to regulate newly-introduced GMOs into the country's agricultural system. And like all other GMO proposals, the Act came with glowing promises that "Frankencrops" would help to eradicate poverty, boost crop yields, and pretty much save the world (or something like that). But it turns out that actual Kenyan farmers hold a different point of view based on actual reality.
"The developers of GMOs have exerted great pressure to ensure that our recently enacted Biosafety Act of 2009 serves the interests of foreign agribusiness, rather than farmers and consumers," said Anne Maina, Advocacy Coordinator of the African Biodiversity Network, a federation of Kenyan farmers devoted to organic farming. "Introduction of patented seeds and related chemicals into our farming systems threatens our agricultural practices, our livelihoods, the environment, and undermines our seed sovereignty."
Organic farmers throughout Kenya have experienced incredible success with organic farming, and they hope the government will recognize this fact. Contrary to industry rhetoric, organic farming has demonstrably increased yields, reduced costs, improved soil and environmental conditions, and boosted income streams -- not GMOs. Organic farming is responsible for helping many natives escape poverty and starvation, without having to be dependent on companies like Monsanto to supply expensive terminator seeds and harsh chemical pesticides at premium costs.
"We no longer spend money on chemical fertilizers and depend on compost manure to grow staple crops," said Jack Rware, an organic farmer in the Kenyan town of Embu that has been prospering for decades from the bounty of his organic farm. "Organic manure promotes soil nutrients and water retention. Yields have gone up and new market frontiers for organically grown crops has opened up."
Rware also added that his organic methods have increased the production ratio of his land, which blows a hole in the biotech myth that GMOs offer increased yield densities over other crops. Once again, more biotech lies have been exposed as nothing more than an elaborate agricultural takeover scheme based on deception and manipulation of government authorities. GMOs provide no real benefits for anyone except the companies that created them.
