Prisoners held in Zagazig prison in Egypt appealed to human rights
organisations and the free world to help relieve their distress.
The President of the Dahaya Centre for Human Rights in Egypt Haitham
Abu Khalil published the appeal on Facebook saying: "The situation
inside the prison is very difficult. Detainee numbers have increased in
an unacceptable and inhumane manner. We are suffocating to death inside
the cells."
According to the appeal, there are at least 43 prisoners held inside
the prison's four metre by six metre cell. "The prison's medical
observation unit, which contains elderly and chronically ill patients,
holds 22 prisoners in a three metre by three metre room," the appeal
said.
The prisoners said: "We are dying slowly inside the prison's
overcrowded cells where we cannot breathe, especially now that that the
high summer temperatures are approaching, or move."

To my medical colleagues, BigPharma sceptics and others
truly concerned with public health issues and the accelerating
sickening of America:
In the following link,Dr. Suzanne Humphries talks about vaccines in a 10
minute videointerview justifiably, with science backing her up (and
directly refuting what those corporate entities who have immense wealth
and power), claiming that there has never been a safe vaccine.
This video needs to be viewed by all health reporters to “immunize” them

For those who have only heard the smear campaign false
charges in the US about Wakefield: he was the victim of a highly
orchestrated smear campaign in England, funded by vaccine-maker Glaxo,
and Rupert Murdoch’s media empire [Rupert’s son James Murdoch sits on
the board of Glaxo; and a Murdoch-funded pseudojournalist named Brian
Deer did much of the dirty work]).
The smear campaign was supported by Britain’s threatened medical
establishment and its two previously “prestigious” medical journals
[Lancet and British Medical Journal] to discredit Wakefield and his
well-done study of 12 children who were diagnosed with regressive autism
after their MMR shots (that contains 3 varieties of live viruses) and
whose bowels became infected with the measles virus from the vaccine,
causing abdominal pains and chronic diarrhea. Biopsies taken by
Wakefield and his colleagues proved vaccine-related measles virus
infections in the intestinal lymphatic tissue, findings that have been
replicated in a number of other studies world-wide (refuting the medical
establishment’s claims of fraud).
One of those studies came out of Wake Forest University:
"
… a team from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in North
Carolina are examining 275 children with regressive autism and bowel
disease - and of the 82 tested so far, 70 prove positive for the measles
virus … the team's leader, Dr Stephen Walker, said:
'Of the handful of results we have in so far, all are vaccine strain and none are wild measles.
This
research proves that in the gastrointestinal tract of a number of
children who have been diagnosed with regressive autism, there is
evidence of measles virus. What it means is that the study done
earlier by Dr Wakefield and published in 1998 is correct.
That
study didn't draw any conclusions about specifically what it means to
find measles virus in the gut, but the implication is it may be coming
from the MMR vaccine. If that's the case, and this live virus is
residing in the gastrointestinal tract of some children, and then they
have GI inflammation and other problems, it may be related to the
MMR."
Says Dr. Wakefield of his original 1998 findings:
"…
it's been replicated in Canada, in the U.S., in Venezuela, in Italy…
[but] they never get mentioned. All you ever hear is that no one else
has ever been able to replicate the findings. I'm afraid that is false."

The threat to the vaccine industry (from the connection
between regressive autism and inflammatory bowel disease following live
virus vaccination) was perceived to be so great that various corporate
entities orchestrated the unheard of refutation and retraction of the
1998 Lancet study and the revocation of the medical licenses of
Wakefield (and one other of the dozen authors of the study, who was, by
the way, later exonerated of the charges and then compensated for the
unjust charges against him).
At any rate, the US corporate media and medical establishment have
joined in the smearing of Wakefield (who now lives in the US after
writing a book about the affair that was appropriately titled “Callous
Disregard”). And the reason for the intense campaign to discredit
Wakefield and his very valid research is clear: because any doubts about
the “safety” of the vaccines in the minds of the public that are so
profitable (for the powerful and obscenely wealthy multinational
vaccine/drug makers, the CDC [which is a major vaccine pusher in
America], the American Academy of Pediatrics, the AAFP and the AMA, none
of whom will ever be able to bring themselves to admit their
wrong-doing that has damaged tens of thousands of vaccine-injured
children who now have to endure chronic illnesses like autism spectrum
disorders, chronic asthma, Crohn’s disease, rheumatoid disorders and
other autoimmune disorders that are dramatically increasing in incidence
– co-incidentally with [or because of] the massive increase of
vaccinations in America – see list below).

Thimerosal: can result in brain injury and autoimmune disease (used as a mercury disinfectant/preservative)

Tamimi: UAE is putting pressure on London to ban Islamic institutions

The UAE is trying hard to put pressure on Britain to ban Islamic institutions in London, especially the Muslim Brotherhood, the director of Al-Hiwar TV channel Azzam Tamimi said yesterday.
Speaking at the International Palestinian Conference for Media and Communications in Istanbul, Tamimi stressed that Britain is a democratic state that does not give in to pressure, unlike the violations that occur in Arab countries and asked these countries to stop playing "malicious" roles.
Tamimi added that the UAE demanded British Prime Minister David Cameron shut down Al-Hiwar and some Islamic institutions and offered financial bribes to the UK, but Cameron refused saying that "Britain is a nation subject to law and the judiciary. If you have a problem with them then you must let law run its course."
The aim of the conference, also known as Tawasul, is to provide opportunities for meaningful dialogue about experiences within the media, to provide help in developing and directing media productions on Palestine. In addition, Tawasul aims to coordinate public information efforts and promote the development of joint projects and programmes and launch media initiatives encouraging creativity in media productions serving the Palestinian cause.
The conference was organised by the Palestine Media Club, the Foundation for Research, Economic and Social Research (SETA) and the Middle East Monitor (MEMO).

Saudi woman sentenced to 180 lashes and 8 months in jail for driving a car

Saudi court sentenced on Friday a woman for 180 lashes and 8 months in prison for on charges of driving a car and attacking security officers.
SABQ online newspaper said that the security officers [private right litigants] attended the trial and demanded the enforcement of laws against the defendant.
According to the newspaper, the defendants appealed the ruling. Her appeal was overturned by the Attorney General, the ruling was approved by the Court of Appeal and turned to executive authorities for enforcement.
The newspaper did not mention the name or the identity of the suspect. Saudi Authorities did not issue an official statement regarding the case.

Georgia Expands Gun Rights, But does the bill go far enough?

Atlanta, Ga. - Gun owners and supporters of the Second Amendment can cheer for Georgia as the state’s governor signs into law a bill that expands, not limits, gun rights.
The National Rifle Association’s lobbying arm called the bill “the most comprehensive pro-gun reform legislation introduced in recent state history.”
The bill widens the scope of public places where licensed gun owners are allowed to carry.
According to Fox News, changes to state law include allowing those with a license to carry a gun into a bar without restriction and into some government buildings that don’t have certain security measures. It also allows religious leaders to decide whether it’s OK for a person with a carry license to bring a gun into their place of worship.
Under the bill, school districts would now be able, if they wanted, to allow some employees to carry a firearm under certain conditions. The bill also eliminates the fingerprinting requirement for renewing weapons carry licenses.
Does this bill fully restore 2nd Amendment rights to it’s citizens? No.
But recently, Gun rights activists have been losing pro-gun legislation in Republican controlled states like Tenn. (see here) and in S.C. (see here).
It’s refreshing to see the momentum moving in the right direction in Georgia. There is more work to be done in Georgia. Hopefully, S.C. and Tenn. will follow Georgia’s example but with the current legislators in power that’s not going to happen.

African Center for BioSafety Orders Mnsanto to StopMaking False Claims about GMOs

The Advertising Standards Authority in South Africa recently banned a Monsanto radio ad claiming it was making unsubstantiated claims about GMO. Mariam Mayet, the executive director of the African Centre for Biosafety (ACB), is enraged by the arrogance of corporations like Monsanto.
Since the 1970s Monsanto has falsely advertised their products – from insecticides to DDT, even when independent research proved how vile these substances truly were. DDT was eventually banned, overturning Monsanto’s then claims, that the substance was ‘safe.’ It now seems that the African Center for Biosafety is among the clear-headed, realizing that Monsanto’s GMO crops are nothing but another false advertising campaign gone amuck.
Furthermore, the Advertising Standards Authority in South Africa recently banned a Monsanto radio ad claiming it was making unsubstantiated claims about GMO. Mariam Mayet, the executive director of the African Centre for Biosafety (ACB), is enraged by the arrogance of corporations like Monsanto. She believes, like others, that they are trying to control the world of agriculture through falsifying information and promoting their propaganda with deep pockets.
The ad played on radio 702 claimed that GM crops used fewer resources and have been “strictly regulated and have been extensively researched and tested for safety.” The ad touted increasing crop yields, decreasing greenhouse gas emissions and less pesticide use also — all unproven. Monsanto also claimed that they ‘produced more food sustainably,’ even though their Round Up Ready chemicals and GMOs have destroyed butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. How is this more sustainable farming?
The ASA also warned Monsanto to “ensure that it holds proper substantiation for its advertising claims” or risk attracting further sanctions.Perhaps South Africa is paying heed to other countries who have banned Monsanto from more than their airwaves – but also their agricultural markets. France and Sri Lanka recently banned Monsanto’s seed and Sri Lanka is banning the use of glyphosate – the main ingredient in Round Up, completely.

“We are elated with this decision,” said Mariam Mayet, executive director of the African Centre for Biosafety. ”Monsanto has already been warned by the ASA as far back as 2007, that it needs to substantiate its claims from an independent and credible expert … regarding its claims of the so-called benefits of [GMO] crops.
